The only international photography fair in Central and Eastern Europe
Initiated and co-organized by EDGE Communications and established in 2014 as its dedicated photo section, Art Photo Budapest has grown to become the onsite satellite fair of Art Market Budapest – the regionally leading international art fair. Art Photo Budapest has secured its position as Central and Eastern Europe’s only international photography fair, one of the few such events in Europe. This unmissable meeting place of the international photo-loving community plays a key role in establishing Budapest as one of Europe’s newly emerging centers of photography, based on the heritage of such Hungarian masters as László Moholy-Nagy, André Kertész, Robert Capa, and others combined with a talented young generation of locally trained photographers.
